Once upon a time, there were a grandpa and grandma couple in a village. One day, the grandma was very sick and, they couldn't even afford to buy medicine. Then, she was dead. When his wife was dead, the grandpa called other villagers to come to funeral. But no one came because they knew that the grandpa was poor. The grandpa couldn't even afford to light the candles beside his wife's dead body. The whole night, he waited alone beside his wife's dead body. No one showed up in the next morning too. So, he wrapped his wife's body with a mat. And he went outside the village to bury his wife by taking a hoe. He thought to bury her under a banyan tree. So, he started digging the ground. While he was digging, he heard the clink, "Hkrun, hkrun, hkrun." It was a pot. Inside the pot, there were lots of gold. Someone probably buried them under it. He was so happy. Then, he took his wife's body to home and sold some gold. After that, he held a funeral for his wife. At that time, many people came to the funeral. They asked the grandpa, "How did you those money?" He answered honestly, "I didn't get them from anyone. When I dug the ground to bury my wife, I accidently got those gold." Then, the King heard that news. The grandpa could build a new house by those money. At night, he lit the candle and thought, "I got those gold because of my wife." He missed his wife and felt lonely. But the King was greedy on those money and planned to get those. He thought, "How much money more does that old man have?" He thought of a plan to deceive the grandpa. Then, he called his servants to peck chickens' feathers. And he stuck all those feathers on his body. He made them like wings. After doing that, the King went to the grandpa. He pretended like an angel. He said, "Hey! An old man! I gave you some money because I feel pity for you. How much money left? Give me back." Then the grandpa answered politely, "There are some left. I have got this much." And he gave those money to the angel. The King who pretended like an angel took those money and went to his palace. Actually, the money was not much. But the King didn't want anyone to be richer than him in his country. So, he acted in that way. When the King got home, he tried to take the feathers off from his body. But he couldn't! It was because he stuck those chickens' feathers by sticky resin. When he tried to take them off, he was extremely hurt. So, he just let them stick. He didn't try to take them off anymore. Later, his people found out about him. They found out that the King wanted to extort money even from the poor. So, they killed him and enthroned a new king. And all people lived happily in that country.
