Title Ga tsun ga la (The communal work) with English translation
Description Translation (Dau Hkawng)
Regarding the topic of communal work called (Ga tsun ga la), I will share what had been done by the people in the mountain regions. Whatever they do in these mountain regions, whether it was building a house, cultivating, or farming, there was no need for money to help one another in all cases, including agriculture. I want to share about a communal work called "Ga tsun ga la," that how people work with each other in that way. The whole village worked together to help a family farm when they need to cut down the field to make a farm. Then, the next day or two days apart, they gathered around a family farm and work together again. The whole village was working with each other in a way called "Ga tsun ga la." They worked together from the start of farming until the harvest. And then, when building a house, they worked together from the extraction timber until the completion house. It was what they did until they finished the building. Whatever they did, not with money. If anyone needed to build a house, whether you work in the fields and whatever you did, that you can get the job done with success, even if you did not have the money, to do this kind of work "Ga tsun ga la" with each other. This is what I want to share. Thank you.
