The king said, "You, my eldest son, will guard the tree. Watch it carefully and catch the thief. The eldest son, Ma Gam, guarded the tree that night. He watched it carefully, but by midnight, he felt sleepy. He had been guarding it for two days and two nights. On the previous nights, no one had come to steal the fruits. On the third night, while he was falling asleep, the thief took the fruit. The next morning, one gold fruit was missing. It was missing. The next morning, Ma Gam told his father, "My father, no one came to steal the fruit while I was watching over it for two nights. But last night, around 12 a.m., at midnight, I was so sleepy that I fell asleep for a while. At that time, the fruit was stolen." The king said, "It's because you are incapable. You could even buy a country with it." The king was deep in thought, "If even one wing is this valuable and could buy a country, then the whole bird must be priceless. Ma Naw continued his journey and arrived at the village. As the fox said, there were two shops across from each other. He thought, "Whatever, I need to go to the small dim shop." He went there and knocked on the door. But no one was there. He just said, "I will be a guest here tonight." He stayed there for a night. The fox said to him before he continued his journey, "Don't sleep. Don't sleep the whole night." He remembered what the fox said. He thought, "The fox told me not to sleep and be alert. Why did it say that to me?" So, he didn't sleep the whole night and stayed alert. Around midnight, he heard the sound of the bird. He knew, "This is that bird which steals our fruits." He peeked a glance and saw that it was the gold bird. He secretly approached the bird and caught it. The next morning, he went back to his palace. On his way back home, he saw that the fox was still there. He thanked the fox, saying, "Thank you very much. I was able to catch the bird because of you." It said, "Do me a favor. I need your help too." He said, "Yes. Tell me how I can help you." The fox said, "You can't say 'no' to my request." The man said, "I won't refuse your request. Tell me." The fox said, "Then give me that gold bird." The man said, "I am sorry I can't give you this bird. My father, the king, wants it, so he asked me to catch it." The fox said, "Okay. Then use one wing and rub it on my head." Ma Naw used one wing and rubbed it on the fox's head. Surprisingly, the fox transformed into a beautiful girl. He was shocked by the girl's stunning beauty. He fell in love with her. He asked her, "Why did you become a fox?" She explained, "The witch was jealous of my beauty, so she cast a spell on me and turned me into a fox. I can only turn back into a human if the gold bird's wing is rubbed on my head. That's why I've been waiting here, hoping someone would come looking for the bird. I am so grateful to you." He said, "I am thankful to you. Let me marry you." He took the girl to the palace. The king organized a wedding for them. With the bird, he could buy many countries.
