The story I am going to tell is about a monkey and a tortoise. Once upon a time, there were a tortoise and a monkey in a forest. They two were close friends. Wherever they go, they go together and were in unison. And they were neighbours. One day, they discussed something. Then, the tortoise told the monkey, "My friend, let's travel tomorrow!" "Okay. Let's go!" replied the monkey. At that time, "My friend, the place where you live and where I live are far. But, at the place where we set off, I will put a pack of rice if I reach there first," said the tortoise. "I will arrive there early. I will put a pack of rice there. You don't need to bring rice. Just take the rice which I put there," told the tortoise. Then, the monkey said, "Okay. I'm not going to bring the rice. You bring that, okay? You wrap the rice, and let's eat together. I will carry the pack of rice which you put there." Really, when he went there the next day, he saw there was a big pack of rice at that place. "Seem like he did not bring any packs of rice. This one is enough for both of us. He put this here because he wants me to carry this. May be he didn't bring anything more," the monkey thought to himself. Then, he actually took that pack of rice and set forth his journey. He kept walking and walking. Even though he kept walking the whole day, he didn't see a shape of the tortoise. It was already the afternoon, but he couldn't see the tortoise. He was wondering. "Grrrr, the tortoise can't be as fast as me. It's impossible for me that I couldn't follow the tortoise! What's wrong?! Is he late because he had to put the pack of rice there?" the monkey thought to himself. He was very vague. Since it was the afternoon, the monkey was getting hungry. Then the feeling of vagueness and anxiety was growing in his mind. Then, he was wondering and stopped somewhere. He was thinking, "Should I just go forwards, or go back? Shall I just eat this rice? Are we not going to meet each other?" Many thoughts were happening in his mind. He was gazing. While he was stopping, some liquid was dripping from the bag which he was carrying. Then, he thought, "Hmmm? What did my friend pack in this bag? What kind of curry was there in this pack? It's not even dripping the whole day, but it's leaking out now." So, he opened it. Then there was a tortoise inside it. Actually, the tortoise wrapped himself up and let the monkey carried him. The tortoise said to the monkey, "My friend, you had had to carry me the whole day long. So, let's just go back together. Let's not go anywhere. Let's stop for today! Let's travel next time!" Then the monkey said, "Okay. You succeeded to lie to me today, so let's just go back home. Let's just go next time!" They two went back home. They didn't go anywhere more. A few days later, they talked to each other again. This time, the monkey said, "Tomorrow, I will put a pack of rice somewhere on the way. You pick that one and carry, okay? Let's eat together! I don't know that I will arrive there first. Anyway, let's eat together." "And let's wait for each other," the monkey told the tortoise. The next day, they two came to the place where was not far away from their houses.
