Title Magut lap a lam (The magut leaf) with English translation
Description Translation (Rita Seng Mai)
Once upon a time, there was an old lady. She didn't have any children. She was craving for meat. She really wanted to eat meat. There was a wild fig in the forest. She dried the leaves and made them like meat. She pounded the leaves and kept them in the pot. And she put some on the fireplace. She ate the dried leaves as meat when she ate anything. She pounded the leaves and made them paste. And she ate it deliciously. Therefore, the leaves are called Magut lap or Old lady leaves.
