Title Jak chwi chye ai la (Man who is good at sewing) with English translation
Description Translation (Htoi San)
A long time ago, there was a man who knew how to sew. That older man had a daughter. He was the most talented tailor in his village and his country. Many people came to him to make clothes, so he was very proud. He was so proud that he was the only one who made the most tailoring. There was a boy in another village. The boy went to the town and bought the expensive materials. After that, he made the clothes by himself, went in front of the old man's house, and shouted, "Beautiful clothes are available!" Thus the old man thought, "This morning, in front of my house, who is shouting "Beautiful clothes are available!" in front of the most talented tailor?" The older man went out and saw pretty dresses sewing with beautiful materials. Then he asked, "Did you make this outfit?" The boy replied, "Yes, I did." "So your hands are for sewing. They are so beautiful." "You are better than me." The old man requested him, "You can come and stay at my house, and we will live our lives for tailoring." So the boy agreed and stayed there. They two together made clothes, and the boy fell in love with the older man's daughter. One day, they heard something. The King told the old man, "Tsaba, I like your daughter. I want to marry her." The father could not say no as the King requested, so he gave his daughter to him. The tailor boy knew their lives and set up his mind to let her marry even though he understood that he could not get his girlfriend. "You can marry if you are happy. I will not contradict you if you want to marry." said the boy. After she married the King, all the clothes that she wore in the palace were made by her boyfriend. The tailor boy made all the dresses beautifully. All her dresses were attractive, so the King was interested and asked. The King asked her, "Who made your dress for today? It was gorgeously made." So the girl answered, "It was made by a man who loves me dearly. He loves me so much, and he sewed it for me even for my wedding dress delightfully." "He stitched with satisfaction." When she replied like this, the King asked her, "Do you have a boyfriend?" She responded, "Yes, there is. I have a boyfriend who loves me most and who knows how to make clothes." The King told her, "If you have a loved one, why don't you tell me ahead?" so she answered, "Because you are the King. We can't deny your words, so we followed what you have said." From that onwards, the King changed his mind. He did not try to get what he wanted even though he was the King.
