I will tell about a generation by generation. Once upon a time, there lived an old lady in a village. She had a son. The old lady was given a buffalo which was relayed from her parents and great-grandparents. So, she possessed a buffalo. When she was breathing her last breath, she said, "Son, you shouldn't lose this buffalo. This has been handed down from generation to generation. I can give you only this buffalo as a family inheritance. Therefore, you make use of it for your living." After the last word, the old lady passed away. Then the son survived by growing paddy and vegetables with the help of that buffalo. At that time, the king of that place didn't have any children. So, the king was confused about who he should pass on his properties. So, the king discussed this with his advisor. The king said, "When I die, I don't know who should I hand over my properties to." His advisor replied, "It's not appropriate, your majesty." "I've got an idea. To be equal, put up a tall bamboo and hang my treasures on it after I pass away. The one who could get it can receive my properties. It would be the most unbiased way," the king said. Soon, he passed away. Although a few years after the king died, the properties were not passed on yet. Therefore, the villagers made complaints. "Who would the king's properties be given? How are they going to be separated?" the people questioned. One day, the king advisor announced what kind of person would receive the king's properties. He said, "We will put up a tall bamboo. Some treasures are hung up on it, and the one who could get it would receive the king's properties." So, the villagers tried to climb up the bamboo. No one could climb up since the bamboo was so tall and slippery. The man who was given a buffalo by his poor mother came to that place. He considered that none of the villagers couldn't climb up the bamboo. But he had got an idea. There was a well on the other side of the bamboo. So, the man said he would take a try. Then he came near the bamboo and pulled it out. After that, he threw it into the well. And the bag of treasures reached in front of him. So, the man could take the treasures and live the rest of his life happily.
