Title Tsa lu ai majaw nat hkan ai lam (A drunken man chased by a ghost) with English translation
Description Translation (Seng Pan)
A long time ago, there was a man who was drunk and chased by a ghost. One night, the man went to a funeral home. He drunk a lot of alcohol before he went there. And he sat near the dead body in the funeral house. The others played the card. As he watched playing cards, he became sleepy since he was drunk. So, he lay beside the dead body. He pulled the blanket that covered the dead body and wore it because he was senseless and felt cold. The other friends also kept playing cards. After a while, they looked back and saw the body, which was covered by the blanket, moved. The man's friends thought that the dead body came alive, so they ran away. The man also fled immediately as he was afraid and his other friends also left. As he escaped from the funeral house, he arrived in the middle of the village and entered a house with many family members. He went into and slept in the middle of them. At that time, his legs were quite cold. As he got very scared, he slept in the middle of other people. On the other hand, the dead body was possessed by a ghost and chased after him. It followed the drunk man. It asked around where that man was. And it went into the house that the man who pulled the blanket on it entered. "Is there a man who just entered?" it asked. The family members said, "No. We are the only ones sleeping." And it touched the legs. Almost all legs were warm. But it considered the legs of the one who just entered would be cold. The legs of the drunk one were freezing. The ghost pulled him out and ate him.
