Once upon a time, there was a king in a country. One day, he went hunting alone. It was getting dark, and he couldn't go back to palace in time. So, he slept on a tree. There were many Nat spirits everywhere. There was a woman who gave birth that day at the nearest village. Then, some Nat spirits said, "Let's go there!" A Nat spirit from the tree where the King was sleeping said, "I think I can't go there today. Go there by yourselves. I have a guest." Then, the other Nat spirits went to the village where the woman was giving birth. At dawn, they came back after the woman successfully gave birth. They were chatting on their way back. A Nat spirit from the tree where the King was sleeping asked them, "Did the woman give birth successfully?" They said, "Yes, she did." She asked, "How did you curse on the baby?" They said, "We cursed him that he will die because the snake bites him and he will fall into the water when he will be herding cows." The King heard what the Nat spirits were talking about. The next day, he went to that village and found that house. He said to the parents, "I heard what Nat spirits talked about this child. Let me raise this child." Then, he took the child with him. Many years later, the child became a grown-up man. There was a tree on the lake at the place where he looked after the herds. While he was looking after the herds, he saw a hole on the tree. So, he climbed it up and put his hand into it to find out what was in it. Then, a snake inside the hole bit his hand. He was frightened and shouted because he was hurt. Unfortunately, he fell into the lake and died.
