Title Tengmai ai nau tsun ai majaw mare shinggan de nga mat ai lam (The woman who was kicked out of her village because she said too many true words) with English translation
Description Translation (Gun Mai)
Once in a village, there was a woman who always spoke the truth. Even though others lied, she just spoke the truth. So, people who used to lie got angry with her as they could no longer lie to people because of her. Thus, they said to the woman that "You, don't live anymore in this village. Go and build a house outside of the village and stay alone there. We will build the house for you." Then, they built the house for her outside of the village, where the place was not very far from the village and people still could see her house from the village. The woman lived there. When she was living there, one day, a traveller man got there. The man asked that "Hi lady, why you don't live inside the village and living outside of the village alone?" The woman answered that "Yes because I always speak the truth, the villagers don't like so they built the house for me and asked me to live here." The man said that "It is not fair. Telling the truth is how good. The villagers are very bad. Let me leave now." The man left. The man's leg was abnormal. He also brought an umbrella, but he left it at the woman's house. So, the woman called him that "Hey gentleman with an abnormal leg, you left the umbrella here." The man got angry and said "Damn! You are such a bad woman. That's why you have to live the outside of the village." In fact, yes, the man's leg was not good, and he was walking abnormally. That's why the woman called him "Gentleman with the abnormal leg." The man said to the villagers that they were not fair but when it turned to him, he got angry too. The story is ended here.
