Title David Stock
Description 20180730DS_metadata

Monday 30 July, 2018 10am, at Shay Gap Park, South Hedland.

Interview with David Stock (Milangka) about the 'Laka', a travelling song for Myfany Turpin's project (University of Sydney). David 'Yandi' Stock is a Nyiyparli / Banyjima elder

David is wearing Rode wireless lapel micrphone and Myfany recorded the audio on Fostex FR 2 . Bit of Park noise, including baby crying and birds in background.

Davids phone rings during the session andd he talks to his wife about the songs , and I can just make out she is singing them too on the other end (she is in Perth).

No photos or video were taken. However I did see David in the shopping centre some days later when I was with Annie and I took a photo of him then with my iphone which is included in this session.
