Description |
Discussion with Patrick Jungarrayi Ooladoodi from Kintore about Richard Moyle's recording of Kamul Tjulpurrpa (recording Aus 706) from Balgo. Recorded in the Alice Springs Hospital, 16 July 2016 by Myfany Turpin and Felicity Meakins. Patrick said the songs were in Mardu. Summary of the session: Patrick sang along to many of the songs. He calls them turlku and does not recognise the words Tjulpurrpa or kamul. He gives specific places as explanations of the songs. No recognition of 'England'. He knows the Wave Hill 'Laka' songs well. Also gives places as explanations. |
