Title Allen Milyerr - An-nguliny Manikay
Description These recordings are of Allen Milyerr performing his repertoire of manikay songs, learned from his father, England Banggala. Allen is a member of the An-nguliny, a Yirrichinga clan group from the Gochan Jiny-jirra area. Their songs are a version of the Gapangorri group of songs, co-owned with other Yirrichinga groups in the region. Also with Milyerr are Blake Djimarr Carter (Wurlaki - Djarrawitji clan group), playing didjeridu and Randy Watson, also singing. Randy is a member of the Boburredi clan, closely connected to An-nguliny.
The songs are: bugula (water), rajarra (barramundi), gomarla (white egret), jarlambu (eel-tailed catfish), jamandarr (yam), galkuruk (nakeen heron), marrchila (crocodile), mingka (sandfly), jangki (cocky apple tree), wurrparn (emu), ngachu (cycad), wangarra (spirit man), bol (fire), wukali (gounds goanna).

There are edited video and audio clips for each song - these are synced from several sources and mixed. Primary audio files from a Rode Go worn by Milyerr are also included.
