Title Discussion of Wurlaki seasonal terms
Description These recordings were made with Murrungun elder Margaret Rinybuma (MR), Mapi clan member Eric Pascoe (EP) and Stanley Djalarra Rankin (SDJ) in Maningrida on 29/NOV/2017, with Margaret Carew. We are working on a seasons calendar and during the session we placed animal, plant and other seasonal terms on a circular season diagram. Photos of the notes are included. There are 10 audio files and one eaf file matches the first of these. Images of western calendar with 30-40 sticky-notes superimposed, providing language terms for varying time periods.

Description Audio and video recordings of Maningrida languages since 2010, primarily from the Burarra/Gun-nartpa and Djinang/Wurlaki languages. Items also include text-based works (dictionary and grammar). The collection also includes a number of filmed public performances of song and dance from a range of language groups and some other miscellaneous material. Additional languages represented include Ndjébbana, Kuninjku, Kune and Gupapuyngu.
