This is a story about a man who defeateda crocodile and a wolf. Long ago, there was a village near a river. Many wolves lived near the village, and it was dangerous. Not only was it hard to gather wood or banana leaves, but the wolves also ate the chickens, pigs, and cows raised in the village. They even killed people, so the villagers couldn't live in peace. In the river near the village, there lived a crocodile. When people came to fetch water from the river, they were eaten by the crocodile, and day by day, the number of villagers decreased. At first, the villagers didn't understand why people were disappearing. Later, they realized that the wolf was biting people to death and the crocodile was dragging them into the river. They realized why the villagers were disappearing. Once they understood the situation, a clever man in the village came up with a plan. At that time, humans and animals could still talk to each other. He thought, "Our enemies are not only the wolf but also the crocodile." "Even if we defeat only the wolf, it won't be over." "Even if we defeat only the crocodile, it won't be over." "We have to get rid of both of them." He used his wits. First, he went to the crocodile and spoke. The wolf died from the crocodile's bite, and the crocodile also died from the poison on the wolf's body. From that day on, when the clever man defeated both the wolf and the crocodile, no more people disappeared from the village, and everyone lived happily.
