Now I will tell you the story called "No Worries." Long ago, there was a family with the surname Naw Hkum living on a farm, along with their baby. One day, the parents laid the baby to sleep in a hut and went to do slash-and-burn farming. At that moment, a hungry tiger came into the field and grabbed the sleeping baby in its mouth and carried it away. Tigers have a habit of drinking water together with their food. When they catch something to eat, they carry it to a stream and eat it there. This tiger also grabbed the baby in its mouth and carried it to the stream. The parents did not notice that the tiger had taken their baby. People working in nearby fields noticed it and shouted, "Hey, Naw Hkum! The tiger took your baby!" "The tiger carried it away!" Because the fields were far apart, they couldn't catch up with the tiger and had no choice but to shout. When they heard the shouting, the Naw Hkum family cried out, "Please, let nothing bad happen! Please, let nothing bad happen!" The parents ran after the tiger and came to the stream. When the tiger reached the stream, it first tried to drink water and placed the baby down nearby for a moment. Just as the baby was set down, the parents came running up. The tiger fled, and the baby's life was saved. This happened because, when the tiger took the baby, the parents chased after it, praying, "Please, let nothing bad happen!" Their prayer was granted. Therefore, a parent's prayer is very important for their child. Thanks to the faith of the Naw Hkum family, the baby was saved, and they came to be called "Naw Hkum of No Worries."
