Description How the mission began with the arrival of Fr Docherty. Told by Harry Kolumboort in the early 1970‘s to school children at Port Keats. Old story about the Malayans coming to Nangu and the food gifts they brought. Also the story about Nym Bunduck and Wagon Tchimeri helping in the founding of the mission at it’s present site. Stories by Harry Kolumboort and Wagon Tchjimeri recorded in the early 70’s.
