Title Narrative entitled Jambu embak kulak
Description This narrative is a famous fable, or "andai-andai" in Besemah, told by Sutarso (M, 46). It is entitled "Jambu embak kulak," which is roughly translated as, The large guava. It is probably considered the most famous of all the "andai-andai" fables. It was recorded at night with me present at Asfan's house where I was staying.

Recorded on a Marantz PMD 670 solid-state audio recorder with an Audio-Technica AT875 stereo micrphone.
