The Tai class for children, taught by Chaw Mihingta Chowlik.
The Tai elders, particularly Chaw Mihingta, felt it was important for children to know something about their ancestral language. So he set up a school in the primary school room (which had no electricity) to teach children in the afternoons after school when it was becoming dark.
