All video was filmed at Kampung Tumboh Hangat, Perak, Malaysia, under a project funded by an ERGS grant from Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. The Project leaders were Dr Sumathi Renganathan (Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS) and Orang Asli community leader/head man Tok Batin Jasmani A/L Mat Jalak, with Dr Inge Kral (The Australian National University). These recordings were made with Semai language speakers in KampukTemboh Bekèèt (Kampung Tumboh Hangat), Perak Tengah, Malaysia.
Videos show traditional palm leaf weaving and how the woven bands are used in costumes for dancing. File 01 was recorded in 2009 and are of young women doing traditional dancing in the community hall. Files 02 and 03, recorded in 2014, show children wearing traditional palm weaving.
