Title Gandau yang mare na hka a lam (The bluish water river in Gandau Yang) with English translation
Description Translation (Htoi San)
Now I am telling the story about the river flowing from Gandau yang village and the bluish water river. A long time ago, the spirits asked for the bride at the upper part of the river. The lady spirit who stayed at the upper course of the bluish river did not want to marry. She was unfortunate as she did not want to get married. She went near the river to cook rice as she was told. When she reached the water to wash the rice, she was so upset that she threw the rice water again and again. So that river turned bluish. Since that time, we have called that river the bluish water river as the water is dull and unclear.
