Title Du bawng lam (The origin of the lump) with English translation
Description Translation (Htoi Awng)
The story is about how goiter had started happening. At the time when Kachin people were doing farming, they drank water from the streams. They suffered from goiter because they drank water which was flowing through Kwoi Dwi (It is a kind of tree branch. There are many vines inside it and the water flows through it. The vines inside it are dirty and rot.) Our elders said that the goiter can be affected by that way too. This is about how goiter could be infected.
