Title Nakanamanga alphabet and phoneme inventory
Description Discussing the Nakanamanga alphabet and investigating the phoneme inventory. The words being tested were selected from Nguna dictionary (Schmidt, 2023) and existing wordlists for Nafsan and Lelepa (Billington, unpublished manuscript). Vowel length was examined, and consonants are investigated in word initial and medial positions, adjacent to open central vowel when possible.
