Title Traditional prayer, the Woi Akyiu blessing, spoken by Chow Kyen Gohain to Dr Banchob
Description Traditional prayer, the Woi Akyiu blessing, spoken by Chow Kyen Gohain to Dr Banchob.

This was recorded on a small reel-to-reel tape in about 1970 by Dr. Banchob at Pawaimukh village. The tape was a Magnetophonband BASF tape (Red Cover) Typ LGS 26 - No 3. It was digitized by Jürgen Schöpf at the Phonogrammarchiv in Vienna, and cut by Stephen Morey. Julia Miller of the PARADISEC archive (https://catalog.paradisec.org.au/) created a video version with a photo of Dr. Banchob and the original sound so that this file could be uploaded to YouTube.
