The story I'm about to tell is "The Beauty and the Three Young Men." Once upon a time, there were three close friends in a village. They were all in love with the same woman. Each of them possessed a mysterious tool. One of them had a "Golden Fan." Another had a "Peeping Mirror," a type of telescope that could see from afar. The other had "Four Wheels," a tool that could swiftly reach from afar. One day, the three young men left the beautiful woman behind to go on a trading journey. After some time on their journey, they began to miss their beloved beauty. Therefore, the man with the Peeping Mirror looked at their village through it. He saw that the beautiful woman had fallen terribly ill. So, he told his two friends, "Hey, friends, our beauty is suffering from a terrible illness." "Let's return to the village quickly!" The man with Four Wheels then spun the wheels rapidly, hurrying back home with friends, and quickly returned to the village. Upon arriving at the village, they found that their beautiful woman had already passed away. She had indeed died. At that moment, the man with the Golden Fan began to fan her, and the woman came back to life. Afterwards, since all three men loved her, they discussed who was the most worthy to marry her. The man with the Peeping Mirror spoke first. "I am the one most worthy to marry her." "If I hadn't looked through my mirror," "we wouldn't have known about her illness," "and by the time we returned, it would have been too late." "Therefore, I am the most worthy to marry her." When he said this, the man with Four Wheels said, "No, that's not the case." "We could meet the revived beauty again" "because I hurried back with you using my Four Wheels." "She had stopped breathing once," "but it wasn't too late." "Had we arrived after her burial," "even the Golden Fan couldn't have revived her." "Therefore, I am the most worthy to marry her." Then, the man with the Golden Fan said, "Ah, what you both say is certainly true." "But, if I hadn't fanned her with my Golden Fan," "She wouldn't have come back to life." "Since I revived her by fanning," "I have the closest connection to her." "I am the most worthy to marry her." Thus, a dispute arose, but since they were close, they did not resort to violence, and instead called upon elders to decide who was the most worthy to marry the beauty. Then, the elders, after some thought, said, "It is true that you discovered the woman's illness" "thanks to the man with the Peeping Mirror." "It is also true that you could return quickly" "thanks to the man with Four Wheels." "But who could marry the corpse of a dead beauty?" "Therefore, the man with the Golden Fan, who revived the beauty," "is the most worthy to marry her." They advised. The other two men accepted what the elders said, and agreed that the man with the Golden Fan should marry the woman.
