The villagers discussed themselves about him. "We need to do something about him." "Someday, he will need someone else's help." The villagers discussed what to do with this man. Then, one day, he placed a buffalo at the pillar to sacrifice it to the spirits. Since he couldn't do it alone, he invited the villagers. When he invited them like that, as previously discussed among themselves, they just went to his house, without helping at all, and returned just after watching. All the villagers did the same things as he did before. So even though he placed the buffalo at the pillar, he couldn't do anything by himself. At that time, he realized, "Ah, people need friends!" He had a change of heart. Therefore, we all must help our friends. If people invite us, we must join and help them. Like this man, if you don't help at all, when you can't do anything by yourself, you won't have friends to help you. You will face difficulties. That's why we need friends. We must be friendly with people.
