Title Jahkrai ma hte La law ma wa du gap ai lam | The orphan and the bullies who hunted a boar
Description Translation (Gun Mai & Keita Kurabe)
The story I am telling now is the story of an orphan and bullies who hunted a wild boar. There are 20 or 30 different stories about the orphan and bullies. Each one is a different story. Once upon a time there was an orphan and bullies. One day, they went hunting in the forest. When they went hunting they caught a wild boar. When they caught a boar the bullies cut up the boar's meat. And they took all the meat. The orphan was given only the intestines. "Orphan, you are alone." "Squeeze this intestine and eat it!" The orphan was very sad. He was sad and cried. He took the intestines home and he squeezed them with his grandmother. When they squeezed the intestines and took out the contents no dung or other filth came out. A lot of gold came out of the intestines. The more they squeezed, the more gold came out. The orphans got lots of gold. Although the bullies got the meat of the boar the orphan became even richer than them. This is how the old people told the story. Thank you.
