As the princes from nine countries heard it, they brought the gifts and came to the palace. They offered the gifts they took to the king and the princess. Then the king told them that the princess was sick. The king was handed gold and silver. After all of them returned to their countries, the poor man also came to the palace and said, "This is my tiny saving. I had used it to buy the pills for the sick princess." He offered the pills to the king. And he also went back home. The king thought to himself again, "I will give my daughter's hand to the man who truly loves her."
