Mr Price learnt Azumeina with assistance from translation colleagues including Jacques Chanegué (Kolong dialect), Abraham Aloua (Leou dialect) and Yakoub Biendrang (Marba dialect).

Key words: Afro-Asiatic, Chadic, Masa, Marba, Maraba, Bananna Marba, Banana Marba, Kolong, Kulung, Kolon, Leou, Lew, Léo, Chad, Tchad, Tandjilé Ouest, Kélo, Baktchoro, ISO 639-3: MPG.

Notes: The Kolong and Leou dialects take their names from villages. Marba is spoken near Baktchoro.
