Title Cultural activites and memories recorded for edited film 'May Serak Temboh Bekèèt': Life in the past and now, marriage, cooking cassava
Description All video was filmed at Kampung Tumboh Hangat, Perak, Malaysia under a Project funded by an ERGS grant from Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. The Project leaders were Dr Sumathi Renganathan (Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS) and Orang Asli community leader/head man Tok Batin Jasmani A/L Mat Jalak, with Dr Inge Kral (The Australian National University). The recordngs were made with Semai language speakers in KampukTemboh Bekèèt (Kampung Tumboh Hangat), Perak Tengah, Malaysia on July 15 2014.

Interviews cover cultural topics such as life in the past and life now; marriage; and cooking cassava. Interviewees are Alang bin Alang Rahmat; Erna Binti Panjang Nani; En Jasmani A/L Mat Jalak; Udanon Udanon A/P Mat Jalak.

Files 09-14 were filmed by young Semai women Erny Rosnini A/P Eddy Norman and Shamien A/P Seliman.

Description IK2 is a collection of video and audio recordings and stills collected in 2014 and 2017 with Semai speaking Orang Asli villagers in and around the village of Kampung Tumboh Hangat in the state of Perak in Peninsular Malaysia. The recordings document Semai language and culture. The collection includes two edited films that are a compilation of selected excerpts from the entire 2014 data set.
