Interviews were undertaken in English (eng) with Fiji Solomon Islanders (Solomoni) who were descendants of immigrant Melanesians in late 19th century. The participants live in Levuka in the Lomaiviti group where language Lomaiviti (lmv) is used. The descendants speak languages in Solomon Islands from Malaita and Guadacanal. The main language used in this recording is Fataleka (far) in Malaita Province. Updated Region/Village to Levuka, Lomaiviti group and redefined Map to cover Fiji and Solomon Islands so included under Countries. English (eng) language used for Subject/Content languages.
