Title Controlled intonation task and lexical prosody task with Johan and Wawan
Description This elicitation session features recordings of two speakers, Johan and Wawan, in two separate tasks. The first task involves the reading of three dialogues, created also by Johan, Wawan, and Jacob in BJM02-004 and modified and practiced in BJM02-013. The second task involves reading of various lexical items on a screen, making note of the location; each time the participant reads a word, the word moves to another location on the screen, and the participant reads the word and states the location of the word on the screen. This session was recorded in a bedroom in Anton Supriyadi's house in Tanjung Betuah.

Audio was recorded using a 4-channel Tascam DR-701D. Johan wore an AKG C520 headset microphone and his audio was recorded (in Mono) through the DR701-D. Wawan wore a Shure SM35 headset microphone and was also recorded through the Tascam. In addition to the headset microphones a stereo microphone was placed on the floor among the speakers and recorded to the Tascam DR701D. Audio was recorded in WAV format at 128kHz, 32 bit. Video was recorded using a Canon XA30, which has an external audio input, set up on a tripod. Camera audio was recorded using a R√∏de NTG2 shotgun microphone connected through the camera's external audio input. Video was recorded in AVCHD format at 30fps with 1920 x 1080 resolution.

This session was recorded in five parts. The first part is 00:06:36 long and involves Johan and Wawan reading the three intonational dialogues while Jacob scrolls through the script. The second part is 00:10:18 long and involves Johan reading a list of lexical items in a carrier sentence while Brad monitors the equipment. The third part is 00:08:24 long and involves Wawan reading the same list. The fourth part is 00:23:24 long and involves Wawan reading through another list of lexical items in a different carrier sentence. The fifth part is 00:22:32 long and involves Johan reading the longer list with Brad. The microphone cover is visible in the top of the frame during all the sessions.
