Myths and legends from the west coast of Malakula where the linguist Charpartier Jean Michel was working. This tape contains stories in the language Sarian which only had five speakers in 1975. They were using it very scarcely.

The first story is by Francis, a native speaker of Sarian. The name of the story is 'Naluan - Circumcision'.
The second story is also by Francis. The title of the story is 'Taboo place'.
Third story also by Francis. The title of this story is "Nawa Irua -
Two Rivers".
