Traditional Khamyang dancing performed at night; the video commences with a view of the full moon; 0ʹ10", the dancers assemble and prepare to dance but at 0ʹ35" there is a blackout and the practice for the dance continues in moonlight. This is partially visible using the night light feature of the Sony Video camera. 4ʹ26" end of the practise dance. In the meantime someone had erected a temporary light. 5ʹ30" Singing of song about Pawaimukh village by a group of young people; 7ʹ25" singing of traditional song. 7ʹ56" commencement of dance with gong accompanyment. 9’48” finish.
The original video was recorded on a Sony Digital Handycam TRV1 using a Hi8 video cassette that was numbered 2000.6
