Title Additional words in Oepao
Description A number of additional Oepao words elicted mainly for comparative purposes.

rgu20171109_OepaoAdditionalWords-PieterSjioen-original.pdf contains the original transcription made during elicitation of these words. This PDF also contains a number of additional words which were collected after the recorder was turned off. rgu20171109_OepaoAdditionalWords-PieterSjioen-typed.pdf contains a typed ‘phonemic’ version of the original list. Where the two PDFs differ over the presence/absence of certain segments (i.e. glottal stops) the typed version should be taken as authoritative as these have been checked against the recording which is, of course, even more authoritative than any transcription.

rgu20171109_OepaoAdditionalWords-PieterSjioen-TextGrid.txt contains a text grid TextGrid file (open in a text editor and save with .TextGrid extension) with the Indonesian prompts used to elicit words. This can be opened in Praat along with the recording to locate the recording of particular lexical items.
