Title Shan law hpa ai la langai (Greedy man) with English translation
Description Translation (Htoi San)
The story is about a greedy meat-eater man. A long time ago, a man was too greedy and had a great desire for meat. One day, one place killed a pig to sacrifice the spirits, and another site killed a cow. He wanted to eat beef as well as pork, and he wanted to go to the house where they killed pigs. He liked to consume both types of meat, so he hung a large bag at a doorway where they killed pigs. "If someone sees this, he might put pork in it," that man thought and left the house where people killed cows. He desired to eat at the house for pork over there and beef here. So he went back and forth within these two places. At last, he could not eat beef well enough and pork as well. He did not eat anything properly and lost his chances in the middle. That's why, if we are too greedy, we do not get anything, and we will lose in the middle.
