Title Hkanghki hte nga (Lion and cow) with English translation
Description Translation (Seng Pan)
The story I am going to tell you now is about a lion and a cow. A long time ago, a lion and a cow were best friends. They always helped each other. Although it was just a small thing, they shared. There was a wolf who planned to eat the lion and cow since he had never tried their meat before. Since the lion and cow were best friends, they also shared the food. One day, the wolf went to the lion and told him that the cow gossipped about him. At first, the lion thought his friend, the cow, would not gossip about him. Next time, the wolf went to the cow. And he told the cow that the lion gossipped about him. But the cow didn't trust what the wolf said. The next day, the wolf went to the lion again and lied that the cow whispered about him. That time, the lion got a little angry. The wolf did the same to the cow. And the cow also got angry. One day, when they met, they started fighting. They attacked each other, and both of them died. Then the wolf ate their meat and went back to his place. Therefore, without considering, we should not trust what others say.
