Title Mara nnga ai hpaji chye wa (The boy who became a doctor) with English translation
Description Translation (Gun Mai)
Long long ago, there was a boy in a village. He studied medical education from another village and returned home. He studied medical education even for three years and returned with full medical knowledge. When he got to the village, a rich couple who abused his parents in the past came to him to get medical treatment. The boy thought to himself when he saw the couple that "They abused my parents so I lost my parents. What should I do with them? Should I kill and revenge them?" When he was thinking so, the rich couple came to him to get treatment. So, the boy took a cup of poison and gave the rich man. The boy also thought that "The man is going to die if he drinks this poison." But, when the rich man was about to drink the cup of poison, the boy thought to himself again that "I am an educated person. My medical knowledge is to save people and if I kill the people, my knowledge will be useless." Then, the boy grabbed and took the cup of poison from the rich man. And, he changed with a cup of medicine and gave the man. After the rich man received treatment from the boy for weeks, he recovered. After the couple recovered, they thanked the boy. The boy also satisfied himself for the fact that he treated well them with his medical knowledge.
