Title Ga gwi hte bainam (The fox and the goat) with English translation
Description Translation (Gun Mai)
Once upon a time, in a big jungle, there was a fox. The fox was going around nearby to find food. He went to search for food. When he was looking for food, he did not see there was a well. He thought that there might be food near the well. When he went there, he fell into the well. He fell into the well and he was staying inside the well. He was just there inside the well day and night so he was very hungry. "How much I would be happy if there is someone who can save me," thought himself. When he was thinking like that, after that day was ended and on the next day, a goat was coming there. When the goat was coming near the well, the goat was also to find food. Inside the well, the wolf/fox was brainstorming a strategy. The fox thought to himself that "How should I do with this goat to be able to escape from this well." He was thinking and yelled loudly that "Please save me, save me!" Then, the goat was coming and when he looked into the well, he saw that there was the wolf/fox. The goat asked the wolf/fox that "Why are you yelling like this?" "I have been here inside the well for quite long and also could not eat food. Please save me. Would that be possible?" said the wolf/fox. The goat asked that "How should I save you?" "You come into the well. Then, I will step on your body and climb up," said the wolf/fox. The goat said that "If so, I will be remained inside the well?" "I will also save you again," said the wolf/fox. The goat was stupid. The goat was stupid and said that "OK! It is good to save someone." Then, the goat jumped into the well. The wolf/fox said that "OK, you stand here. I will step on your body and climb up to go out from the well." "OK! Please also save me again," said the goat. The wolf/fox said that "Yes, don't worry, don't worry. I know how to save you again." Then, the wolf/fox stepped on the goat's body and went out from the well. When the wolf/fox got out from the well, the goat said that "You said that you will save me again. Now save me." The wolf/fox said that "You, such a stupid goat. How will I save you? If I come again into the well and you go out from the well, I will be left again inside the well. Because of you, now I escaped. So, I thank you a lot." The wolf/fox just said thanks word and returned without saving back the goat.
