Title Jinghkai kanu a tsaw ra myit (The mother's love) with English translation
Description Translation (Rita Seng Mai)
Once upon a time, there was a family; a father, a mother and a daughter. The daughter was still young, but she always hung out with older girls. She didn't make friends with girls her age. One day, she went on a trip without listening to her parents. She was just 16 years old, but she thought she was already an adult. "Mom and Dad, I don't want to go to school anymore. I will look for a job," she said. Her parents didn't say anything to her. They gave her 100,000 or 200,000 kyats to spend on her way. She took the money and went to the city to look for a job. She was searching for a job, but she found no vacancy. She tried to rent a room at hotels, but they refused her to accept as a guest. "You are too young. We can't rent you a room," they said. Then she went to the tea shop and asked for a job. However, no one gave her the job. They said, "You are too young. You can't work here." Every employee refused to give her a job. Then she thought to herself, "Why am I so serious about working and finding jobs at a young age?" She reflected on herself and felt a sense of guilt. She decided, "I am still too young to work. I will just go back to my parents." And she went back home. Her parents were not angry at her and didn't blame her at all. They welcomed her warmly.
