Title Myitle pya sha ai la a lam (The magician) with English translation
Description Translation (Htoi Awng)
There was once a magician in a village. One day, he held a magic show. Many people came there to watch his magic skill. People were amazed by his skill. Actually, he deceived people's sight. He chose to be a magician because he earned much money. Then, one child from the village didn't come to his magic show. He was hiding somewhere the magician couldn't see and looked sneakily at the show. Whatever the magician showed, the audiences were amazed. But he saw nothing special. The magician showed the tricks such as pulling out the intestines from human or sticking a very long tongue out. But the boy who was sneaking didn't see any special trick. So, he said, "Hmmm, nothing special! Very bad!" The magician was embarrassed. So, he killed the boy. Actually, magic is just deceiving people's sight. But, this time the magician couldn't deceive the boy's sight. So, our elders usually say that we should never sneak a peek at a magic show.
