The title of the story I will tell is 'A toad'. Once upon a time, a female toad gave birth to many tadpoles. Even when the tadpoles grew in size, the mother toad did not let them leave water. They only stayed in the water. The mother toad took the responsibility to find food for all. Also, she taught her children, "No one is bigger than me. I, your mother, is the biggest animal on Earth." The toadlets believed what their mother said. They had never seen other animals, so they believed that their mother was the biggest. One day, the mother toad left the water to search for food for them. They tried to go on the land while their mother was away as they were curious. They were fascinated since they had never been on the land. At that moment, a big buffalo was walking over them. The buffalo was walking over them along the way. He did not see the toadlets. He accidentally stepped on them. Some toadlets were dead due to his steps. The alive toadlets were scared and shaking. At that time, the mother toad came back and saw them on the land. She asked them, "What are you guys doing there?" They answered in a shaking voice, "Mom, the huge animal walked past us. He stepped on some of our brothers and sisters to death. Some of us are dead." She was upset to hear it. She asked them, "Who killed my children? What kind of animal is he? How big is he?" They said, "He is really big. We have never seen that kind of animal before." She asked them while expanding her belly, "How big is he? Is he this big?" They said, "No, Mom. He is bigger than that." She expanded her belly bigger than the first time and asked them again. They said, "No, Mom. He is much bigger than that." Then she tried her best to expand her belly again and asked them, "Is he this big?" They shook their heads and said, "He is much, much bigger, Mom." At last, her belly exploded, and she died. Then, their mother's death separated them from her. The toadlets always live wherever they want till today. They live in the lake or stream. This is the end of the story.
