Description |
First the thread is spinned in a spinning wheel called Danganatha. Then a sticky substance called Maidi, made of cooked rice is applied. Then the wet thread is spinned at the wheel, then dried in the sun. Then the loom is set using the spinning wheels on a level surface according to the size and shape of the target cloth. Then each thread is put through a comblike tool called Rashw and slowly taken to the other end by applying combs. Then a process called Nw Khonnai is done.
